1. About Indahnesia

Indahnesia ("we," "us," "our") is a curated travel marketplace operated by PT Adikarya Wisata Indah Nesia, founded in 2014. We connect travelers with vetted local tour operators, liveaboard providers, and experience hosts across Indonesia.

By accessing or using indahnesia.net (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Our Role

Indahnesia operates as a marketplace platform, not a direct tour operator. We curate and list experiences provided by independent partners ("Operators"). Each booking is a contract between you and the Operator. We facilitate the booking, payment processing, and communication — but the Operator is responsible for delivering the experience.

All listings on Indahnesia are vetted by our team. The "Indahnesia Pick" badge indicates experiences we especially recommend based on safety, quality, and eco-compliance standards.

3. Booking & Payment

3.1 How Booking Works

When you complete a booking on Indahnesia, your reservation is confirmed upon payment. We use Xendit, an Indonesian-licensed payment gateway, to process all transactions securely.

3.2 Deposit & Balance

  • A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
  • The remaining 70% balance is due no later than 7 days before your departure date.
  • All prices are displayed in your selected currency. The final charge is processed in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) at the exchange rate at the time of payment.

3.3 Payment Invoice

Each payment generates a Xendit invoice with a 24-hour expiry. If payment is not completed within 24 hours, the invoice expires and your reservation is released. You may request a new invoice to rebook.

3.4 Supported Currencies

Prices are displayed in IDR, USD, EUR, AUD, SGD, CNY, and GBP. Exchange rates are updated periodically and are indicative only. The charge amount is determined at the time of payment.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

4.1 Customer Cancellation

Cancellation policies vary by Operator and are displayed on each listing page. General guidelines:

  • 14+ days before departure: Full refund minus administrative fees (if applicable).
  • 7–13 days before departure: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
  • Less than 7 days: No refund.

Some Operators may offer more flexible or stricter policies. Always check the specific cancellation terms on the listing page before booking.

4.2 Operator Cancellation

If an Operator cancels your booking, you will receive a full refund of all payments made. We will assist in finding an alternative experience if available.

4.3 Force Majeure

Neither Indahnesia nor the Operator is liable for cancellations caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, natural disasters, port closures, government restrictions, pandemics, or civil unrest. In such cases, we will work with the Operator to offer rescheduling or credit where possible.

5. Your Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate personal information during booking and guest form completion.
  • Ensure you meet any physical, medical, or age requirements stated on the listing.
  • Carry valid identification (KTP for Indonesian citizens, passport for foreign nationals).
  • Follow all safety instructions and rules set by the Operator and local authorities.
  • Respect the environment — Indahnesia promotes responsible tourism. No single-use plastics, reef-safe sunscreen only, and respect for local communities.
  • Arrive at the designated meeting point on time. Late arrivals may forfeit their booking without refund.

6. Health & Safety

Some experiences involve physical activity, water sports, wildlife encounters, or remote locations. By booking, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks. You are responsible for:

  • Disclosing any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements via the guest form.
  • Obtaining appropriate travel and medical insurance.
  • Following crew and guide instructions at all times.

For liveaboard trips, guests may be required to sign a separate waiver/agreement provided by the Operator.

7. Communication

All communication between guests and Operators is conducted through Indahnesia's in-app messaging system. This ensures transparency, record-keeping, and quality of service. We do not share personal contact details (phone numbers, email addresses) between parties before booking confirmation.

8. Reviews & Feedback

After your trip, you will receive an automated invitation to leave a review. Reviews are published on the Platform subject to our moderation guidelines. We reserve the right to remove reviews that contain:

  • Offensive, discriminatory, or defamatory language.
  • Spam, promotional content, or irrelevant material.
  • Personal contact information or private details.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including text, photographs, illustrations, logos, and design elements — is owned by or licensed to Indahnesia. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Indahnesia's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific booking in question.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or negligence of Operators, their staff, or third-party service providers.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.
